Rare Pink Purses!

Greetings Jammers, and welcome to another week! How was your weekend?

It's that time of the week, folks: Monday! Now what do we have today?

Sold in Jam Mart Clothing for 850 gems (wow) is the rare pink purse. Huzzah! This item is non member! I think we ought to have a bit of a celebration here!

As I was saying, today's item is the non-member (huzzah!) rare pink purse! It seems to be simply a darker version of the original, with light blue accents- a nice touch. That keychain/decorative thing on the bag reminds me of a cheese string, I am not sure why... Anywho, if you like this item, be sure to buy it today!

It is time for another Curious Question! If AJHQ allowed you to create one new item, what would you create? That's ITEMS not ANIMALS, as I have asked you this question in one of my previous posts! Would your item be rare? Den item or clothing item? What colours? What price? Be sure to go into detail, and name your item too; I would love to hear what you have to say!

Finally, the factual part of this post!

Our word of the day:

Brobdingnagian: gigantic; colossal

I really like this word! It's both fun to say, and a creative replacement for the word "big". I dare you to try out this word in front of your friends and see how they react! Tell me how it goes!

Our fact of the day:

The popular phrase "you are what you eat" is actually true in a scientific sense! Your skin cells and some of the cells inside of your organs replace themselves approximately once a month. Your body uses the food you eat to make new cells! Think about it. What you eat becomes you.

So that hotdog you ate at the beginning of this month is now a part of your body! It is the ultimate proof that food is taking over the world!

Good Smarts!

And now it is time for the factual part of this post!
Our word of the day:

Insouciance: Casual lack of concern; indifference

Nonchalance!

Our fact of the day:

The average person takes about 5 million breaths per year.

Wow. That much? Truly fascinating!

Good Smarts!

Rare Deer Antlers!

Greetings Jammers!

Today is Monday, meaning that we have a new rare item! Let's see what is in store for us today!

Introducing, the Rare Deer Antlers! You can buy a pair of "prongs" for 1000 gems in Jam Mart Furniture. Remember, this item is available today only!

Hmm... How strange it would be if there was a green-antlered reindeer instead of a red-nosed reindeer... It wouldn't be a very catchy song!

Today, I have another question for you. What is your favourite aspect of Animal Jam? What do you find most enjoyable? Is it the animals? Buddies? What makes you want to keep playing this wonderful game? Tell me in the comments (and feel free to rant!)

Now it is time for the factual part of this post:

Our word of the day:

Corybantic: wild; frenzied.

What an interesting word!
And finally, our fact of the day:

Just like fingerprints, everyone has a unique tongue print.

Hmm... I would much prefer making prints (with ink and paper) with my fingers. I would not fancy licking an inkpad for identification purposes!

Good Smarts!

More Evil Snowmen, and Rare Jamaaliday Earmuffs!

Greetings!

I am sorry to say, that today's gift is a returning item. However, it is yet another extremely evil item: the inflatable snowman! Behold, your worst nightmare: this evil snowman will not melt under normal conditions! He also does not have a cord like many other snowmen making him difficult to destroy! He also 'innocently' sways around when you place him- pure evil.

Now wait just one minute. How do you suppose you stick real sticks on an inflatable snowman? Hmm. I blame the yeti.

Strange, though I may be, admit it: if you were walking down the sidewalk and this thing appeared behind you suddenly, you would most likely be running for your life!

Next, the much-less-evil rare item of the day: the Jamaaliday Earmuffs, sold for 1000 gems! Now that is one expensive pair of earmuffs- though they are topped by the Snowflake Tiara and Snowflake Crown which are both sold in the same shop for more gems.  Buy this today in Jam Mart Clothing!

I never had a problem with the Jamaaliday Earmuffs, I actually like them. The colours on this pair are perfect for the season- I think this is a pretty good rare!

And now for the factual part of this post:

Our word-liciously wordy word of the day:
Anachronism: A thing belonging or appropriate to a period of time other than that in which it exists.
Now there's a word you don't usually hear!

Our factorifically facty fact of the day, given to us by piggoesoink:
There is a city named Rome on every continent.
Now here is an extra tidbit of information for you. You may know that Rome has been hailed 'the most successful empire in history', up to its final downfall. During this time, Rome conquered many nations, and ruled over a vast amount of land. To put this into perspective: someone living in Scotland, and someone living in Egypt, were still 'in Rome'. My theory, is that many places were named Rome because of how much influence the original Rome had on human life. How interesting!

Thank you piggoesoink for that information!

Adventure Awaits!
