AJ Petition: Give us Free Chat Back!

Jammers all around Jamaa have been very upset with the update to Animal Jam's chat system. To put it simply, AJHQ has made it so that, no matter what type of chat you have, you cannot type symbols. Here are just a few of the symbols we can no longer type:

You can't use "*" or "-" The dash and asterisk symbols are often used while role playing, to write something that your animal is doing, rather than saying.

You can't type "...", "???" or "!!!" You can no longer type three periods in a row, the same goes for exclamation points and question marks. What if you are extra confused, or extra excited? What's wrong with typing three of the same symbol in order to express yourself? Thankfully, AJHQ is now allowing us to use more than one period at a time. They haven't fixed anything else yet, though!

Only one sentence at a time. Now, after a period you can't type anything else. That means you can only write one sentence at a time! This makes talking to your friends take a much longer time.

No more emoticons. Emoticons are faces or expressions that Jammers make out of letters and symbols to show how they feel. Here are some examples: ^.^   =)   ;)


It makes no sense at all for AJHQ to prevent us from using these symbols! The purpose of Free Chat is to let us say anything, as long as it's appropriate! Now our chat is limited to simple single sentences, without any expression at all.

Now, AJHQ does view this blog. My idea is to let them know that we all want our Free Chat back! Here is how we'll do it:
