As a side topic, I'm beginning to think the daily spin is a bit of a scam. Think about it. There are 16 different slots that you can land on. You can count them yourself:
So, if there is one diamond on there, out of 16 slots, you should win a diamond about once every 16 days, right? Well, I was around the day diamonds were released, and I have never won a diamond in the daily spin. It's not just me either - the vast majority of Jammers will say the same thing.
If odds are that you should win a diamond roughly every 16 days, and most of us have never won a diamond, what does that mean? It means the daily spin is a scam. AJHQ made it so that it is very difficult for the spinner to land on the diamond. Not impossible, but very unlikely. After all, the spinner is the only way nonmembers can get a diamond. have a feeling AJHQ doesn't want nonmembers to get many diamonds, or else they might not want to buy a membership. Does that sound fair? Sometimes it seems AJHQ cares more about money than making a good, fair game.
Anyway, it seems we have a bit of a problem with the comments. Lately there have been many spam comments, left by computers, not people. These comments generally don't make much sense and have a link at the end of the comment. I got 2 diamonds from the daily spin. It was like a miracle. I thought they had rigged it so nms couldn't get diamonds from it.

DeleteI don't think the odds are supposed to be diamonds every 16 days. It also goes for gems, too. All I ever land on is 25, 50, and 75. It's a rare chance I really land on any other value. The chances are always mixed.
ReplyDeleteI've only gotten a diamond once from the daily spin. It is not a scam-- just chance. Maybe not a very good chance for diamonds, but AJHQ does not make any promises. There is no guarantee that you will even ever get diamonds in the daily spin. Honestly, we jammers should be glad that we have the daily spin at all. Once there was no daily spin, and you wouldn't receive any free gems. A diamond per week is more than enough, but if you want more you can buy them in the packs sold online. You also get 10 diamonds with any membership pack.
ReplyDeleteI landed on a diamond once, but OF COURSE it had to be on my non-member storage account that I hardly ever use. x( But, yeah, I totally agree. Like @Ronen Jamaa said above, it's not just for diamonds, it's for gems too. I usually only get 25's, 50's, and 75's. I have to be really lucky to get a 500, and EXTREMELY lucky to get a diamond. It's kinda frustrating. ;b

I mean, I mostly get 500 gems as a jackpot, but I am a nonmember, and if this is a truth aj, THEN I WILL NOT BUY A MEMBERSHIP FOR PETES SAKE! Umm I don't know if its a scam, i mean its a spinner so you are able to land on the same one more then once. I don't think the odds are suppose to be every 16 days. It just makes it harder, which is what they want. They don't want everyone to get a diamond everyday. So that's not what a scam is.... Geez people these days call everything scams, when they aren't.

ReplyDeleteWell, it is sorta a scam because I have played AJ for a while now and I, personally, have never landed the diamond. Y'know my friend lmikit8855, right? She landed it once. Those people that have landed it, like, 5 times are REALLY lucky! I just might have to agree with you on the money thing. Almost everyone is like that nowadays! It makes me mad that people are that self-centered and shallow. I think AJHQ should switch up the spinner for a change. It gets sorta boring looking at the same old, same old all the time.

I agree with you on the daily spin, there is definitely waaaay less of a chance to get diamonds from that lil' spinner, but I wouldn't say it was a scam.. I mean, it's natural it would be harder to get diamonds.

ReplyDeleteThe daily spin is not a scam. Why do everyone associates everything bad to a scam? Just because you never landed a diamond, doesn't mean other has. Of course getting a diamond isn't 1/16 because it is computer generate. I think the probability will be almost the same if you has some role in it, like actually uses your arm to spin the wheel, etc.

ReplyDeleteThe never CONFIRMED that you'd get a diamond every 16 days- it's just randomly generated by their system. That's the whole point.

ReplyDeleteI got diamonds 12 times, I feel really bad that I can't gift or trade diamonds to my friends, since I've been nonmember for 5 years, I have seen AJ change from a great, addictive (lol) game to a game where the AJHQ hates nonmembers and only wants money from members.
