You guys- 😬
Me- 😒
Hehe! Was that long funny intro worth the time you've waited for this post?
I hope so 😁.
But really, I am truly sorry for such a delayed post! Let me explain why it's delayed.
First of all, we're getting a new house, so we did a frame walk at the construction site. (A frame walk is where you walk through the house construction and talk with the builder, with any questions you may have.) And I was writing some stories before we left, allowing me no time to write this post. After the frame walk, we went to our friends house (for an hour and a half), then went to Walmart, then we finally got home, but then we had to eat dinner. In conclusion, that is why this post is 8-6 hours late.
Anywhooo, lets get into the main part of this post, shall we?
Today, I'm going to be talking..
Writing tips! From previous posts, you may think I'm not that much of an "advanced" writer, but when it comes to story writing, I'm very serious about the way I write it. So, without further ado, lets begin!
---
Tip #1: Typoz dun't rocck.
In writing, we may make a lot of typos. Like one my friend, Sarahkey8, pointed out to me when I wrote a new story chapter.
"We quickly made it to the local 24 hour grocery store. We ran near the back of the store, and I stared at Sarah. “Wait with my father out here. We’d get too many weird looks if we all game in the store.""
That word is supposed to be came. To prevent this from happening, it's always good to proofread before you publish a new story, or story chapter. (Something I lack, greatly.)
Or, in times when you make a typo like this..:
"Mom needs to mauke me some cookies."
When that happens, it's always good to have autocorrect on your computer.
Tip #2: Commas, periods, exclamation points and question marks.
When is the right time to put a comma you may be wondering? Well, I'm here to explain when.
Whenever your writing, you say in your head, what your typing, right?
Well, whenever there seems to be a slight pause in the sentence, thats when you should put a comma. Or when you naming off stuff, like desserts or something, you need to put a comma. For instance:
"Brownies, cookies, peanut brittle, and cake."
Pretty easy to remember.
When it comes to periods, thats pretty easy to remember as well. You always use a period, right after a sentence. Thats pretty much all there is to it 😊.
Exclamation points.. One of the must frustrating things in writing. When do I use it? Am I using it too much? Well, normally you use it, when you show exclamation. Exclamation, like happiness, or excitement. But the question is, "Am I using it too much?" Well, sometimes you might be. Like if you do this:
"None members need more items!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Little too much exclamation there.. A proper time to use it would be in a sentence like this:
"Hurry! Get the nurse!"
So really, use exclamation points only once or twice in a sentence, and be sure to only use it in times of well, exclamation!
Question marks pretty much have the same rules as exclamation points. Don't overuse it, and for this punctuation, only use it in times of question, like after a question.
Tip #3: cAps LoCK oFf.
When your a new writer, it may be a bit hard to tell when you use capitals. But it is really easy. Just use it at the beginning of a sentence, when your saying names, and also products. For example:
"This is the beginning of a sentence. Jasmine walked down the street. Jasmine bought Kraft Macaroni."
Fairly simple, but sometimes it can get confusing.
Tip #4: No sudden plot twists!
In story writing, you may want to throw in a change in the story, a fork in the road, something that makes the story unique. But sometimes you might throw in a plot twist, too soon. For example:
"Danielle literally flew out of her room. She didn't even have wings. "Good morning Mom!" Danielle exclaimed. "Morning Danielle. Um, why are you flying?" Her mom asked. "I don't know." She replied. "Ok. How did you sleep?" Her mom asked."
See whats wrong there? Theres no explaining how she started to fly, and her Mom doesn't seem to care. That plot twist seemed a bit too sudden, and unexplained.

I hope you guys enjoyed those tips!
Now time for the Animal Jam part of this post!
If you have looked on the Daily Explorer lately, you would have found this puzzling post.

Now time for the Animal Jam part of this post!
If you have looked on the Daily Explorer lately, you would have found this puzzling post.
When I saw this, I was bubbling with excitement!
Later after I saw this post, we went to Walmart! I for sure wanted to look for this mystery toy. Near the seasonal isle, was a big box, with different items you might want for Christmas. To my surprise, there was Adopt-A-Pet toys! (Those are my favorite!) But my Mom found an Animal Jam toy.. An Animal Jam toy I had never seen before, in my life.
It was almost a perfect match to the picture from the Daily Explorer! My Mom let me get this new toy (thanks, Mom!) and inside, was a different type of Adopt-A-Pet.. These almost looked.. Metallic purple?
Very cool!
And to add to the coolness, theres a special new tab, that says "Treasure", for these new Adopt-A-Pets! Very exciting indeed!
Now for the third part of this post! (I know, this is running really long).
At the Frame Walk today, we were aloud to write on the walls, and floors, because they haven't drywalled or anything yet. I knew we were probably going to be doing this, so I had a special surprise plotting in my head.
A plan to write my Animal Jam buddies names on the walls! (Turns out I ended up doing this on the floor for more space)
I really am so grateful for you guys. If it wasn't for you guys and Coolcat, I'd probably end up quitting AJ all together.
You guys are what keep me playing AJ, and continue to write.
I really do love you guys 💝.
Here's this weeks Bible verse! (I wrote it on the wall in what will be my new room!)
Remember, God made YOU!
Until next Tuesday, This is Graciepopstar91 signin' out!
