Lastly, I'd like to bring up the topic of Guides. In 2010 through early 2011, AJHQ workers would play Animal Jam and call themselves Guides. It was always really exciting to see one.
They would play games like "Shaman Says" and give the winner gems! During the first Night of the Phantoms, Guides gave out super rare items that were never released in stores. Today these items are among the rarest in Jamaa. The point is, they made Animal Jam a lot more fun. Wouldn't it be awesome if AJHQ brought them back? If you want Guides back, why don't you leave a comment below saying so?

DeleteThe eyeball hat was sold for a brief period of time during Halloween (or shall I say, Day of the Phantoms) back in 2010. It was not given by a guide…. Perhaps some were, but they did sell in stores. Just to keep you up to date and such.
DeleteI have met a guide before, once, while in the Sarepia Theatre we played a game of "Copy Cat", where we have to copy what the guide is wearing…and whoever won received gems. It was during one of the "Movie Nights". :)
I also saw one in Coral Canyons and the Hot Cocoa Hut, speaking with Jammers.
I would LOVE to have guides back! I was around during 2010-2011, but I never saw one!

ReplyDeleteI saw 2 guides once. They were really nice people! We asked them questions and they were always happy to answer us. Since there was only five lands back then (including the first new land made, Coral Canyons), I asked them if there will be new lands soon. They said it depends. Well guess what? They are right!
ReplyDeleteToday, if they were there, no one needs to worry about rares again. Maybe the Shamans/Alphas can do these things, too! But sadly, we only see them in the Adventures and also Liza from the tutorial. Do you know what's the problem without guides, no one gets rares for free, it's sad to see a poor person because they feel excluded from other Jammers, especially from Aldan where the "cool" Jammers belong. -_-
Another problem is that some Jammers say they are from AJHQ. It will be easy to tell if they are lying or not if the guides come back. If they do, then it's obvious if someone that doesn't look like a guide with the "AJ" badge is not a member of AJHQ.
AJHQ has to know this and bring back the beta features back to Jamaa!

I really wish that they would bring back those guides because they seem helpful and really nice. It would be fun taking little quizzes that they give you and maybe winning a prize.
