New Items 4/12/12

Hey Jammers!
Before I post items, I wanted to show you something weird my sister, Mysteryhorse, discovered. You know the den item, the Globe? It was removed a while ago, but it used to be a small, green globe, that stood on a small stand, the kind you would normally see in real life. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a picture of what it looked like. But now, it looks way different:

See that? It is in the exact place in my inventory as my old, small Globe. Tell me if this happened to you! It probably means its going to be resold...

Well anyway, here are the new items:

Jamaa Journal Vol. 058

Hey Jammers!
Animal Jam updated today and I will post the new Jamaa Journal issue before school. First of all there is a new look for the Jamaa Journal. There are some problems with it so far. When you turn the first page it doesn't show the top "arch" or whatever that thing is turn. Also, when you click the button to turn the page it turns from the top, when you clicked the bottom. Even more, the turn page button hides the page number. Wierd.

Anyway, here's page 1:

See the new design? Awesome! Members can now adopt Bunnies as a pet, but only for Easter. Click any of the yellow buttons under "In This Issue" and it will lead you to that page.

Page 2:

A new party! It is called the Atlantis Party and it is for ocean animals only. And a new pet game! This one is called Ducky Dash. I haven't played it yet, but I do have a pet Duck!

Page 3:

 A den item contest! Draw a picture of a den item you want sold, and then submit it to AJHQ by following the steps in this page. I think I have some pretty good ideas... Just a reminder that April's MMG is the Hot Cocoa Machine.

Page 4:

A Pet supply store! I asked AJHQ if they could make one of these back in December! Head over to the top floor of Claws 'N Paws and see what they sell! Soon they will probably have one for Flippers 'N Fins too. There are also new videos in the movie theater in Dr. Tierney Thys' Aquarium.

Page 5:

Monkeys are now officially endangered, and no one can buy them anymore. You can use nes you bought before the became endangered, though.

The Truth about Nonmember Swords

Hey Jammers!
Recently everybody has been talking about a recently discovered item: the Pirate Sword. It looks just like the member Sword, but it is nonmember and comes in different colors. Currently, the only Jammer known to have this item is CeleneForest.

This is not a glitch, and it is not a hack. It is a beta item from Summer 2010. CeleneForest got this item from a friend before they quit. I don't have any more info about that. CeleneForest still plays, but don't try to buddy her to trade her for her sword. She only will trade it for Freedom Day items (not including Freedom Hat or Cape). Want to know how I know so much about this? Partially because she told me, partially because I asked AJHQ. Here was my question:

They never really answer your questions very well, but they basically said that the Pirate Sword was an item sold in late Beta, probably late August or early September. It was then removed and very few people bought it. For all we know, CeleneForest is the only Jammer with this item now.

Today the only new item is music for your den. I've never tried posting new music before...

Anyway, today is the last day to buy a monkey before they go endangered! Also, be ready for tomorrow's update!
