Greetings Jammeruritos! (My Dad made me say that... He's very "punny") Graciepopstar91 here! This week, I am filling in for Arctic! I am very honored to do so! Anyways, lets kick this post off with todays new item!

20 Pieces Of Highlighted Art Around Animal Jam, And Big News!

Hey everyone! Graciepopstar91 here! Today I was torn between two blogging subjects, and my mom gave me the idea to share them both! The first subject I will talk about is, 20 pieces of highlighted art around Animal Jam! Im going to highlight 10 Animal drawings, and 10 Nature drawings! Lets begin!

Now for my second topic! A few days ago, Animal Jam released some interesting news on the Daily Explorer. AJ is now going to be returning lost items! I thought this was very interesting because in the past, they were strict about not returning any lost items. Lost items meaning, items you lost in a scam. This system will go in affect this Thursday! There are some rules though. Here they are!

• ONE TIME ONLY - The item return is a One Time Only courtesy for an account and is done at our discretion.  Do not fall for promises of something given at a later date, a trust trade, or an item sent to you as a gift in return for something else.  We will not return items after this courtesy has been extended. This is equal to member and nonmember alike.

• NO HEADDRESSES - We will not return items that are unavailable in game. This means we will not return headdresses, horse coins or other rare items that have been removed from availability/purchase but may be still actively traded by players.

• THIS IS WHY WE CAN’T HAVE NICE THINGS! -  Don’t ruin this policy for yourself and the rest of the community by abusing or trying to game the system. If you make a fake claim of being scammed, we reserve the right to discipline your account, as well as any accounts involved in the attempt, and will reject any future claims of being scammed. This includes attempts to game our new policy with fake claims or conspire with friends to create a false scamming scenario.

• WE DON’T TIME TRAVEL – We will not consider returning items you report being scammed a long time ago.

• NO EXCUSE TO SCAM – Trying to scam someone is just plain mean-spirited and damages the wonderful community we have in Animal Jam.  We do investigate players attempting to try and trick and take advantage of other players.  Don’t be one of THOSE kinds of players.  Help other players learn to trade and create a more positive community. Because we may consider returning an item once, it is no excuse to justify bad behavior and poor camaraderie.

Author Announcement!

Greetings Jammers, Arcticstar here! And oh boy, have I got news for you!

After looking through the many submissions I received, I admit I had a very tough time trying to choose one author for Fridays! Each submission had a unique style of writing, and I was sad that I had to choose from them because they were all so good! If I could add more days to the week so everyone could write, I would.

However, I can't do that, so I had to make a choice. But it was just so difficult... How could I choose one?

I met with Graciepopstar on Animal Jam to discuss options - a possibility she brought up was to choose one full time author, and one substitute author. But how often are the authors ever gone for a long time? To call on someone with such short notice wouldn't seem fair..

But then I had a realization... What if I gave up Mondays?

Sadly, I haven't been able to keep up with posting two days in a row, and Monday usually seems to get the short end of the stick. If I could get one of those super talented people interested in posting to take over Mondays for me, I wouldn't have to choose just one! (mind you, only having to choose two was still hard!!)

In the end, I settled upon two amazing writers who work tirelessly at producing great posts. I knew I could count on these two, and that they were sure to take the AJC to great places. So may I introduce to you, the two new authors:

coolcat89252 and awesomepanda868

Coolcat will be taking over Mondays for me, and Panda will be doing Fridays

I'm so excited to have these guys writing on the blog, I'm sure we'll go great places from here!

If all goes as planned, Panda will start this Friday, and CoolCat will start next Monday (as today is already posted on!)

Be sure to welcome the new authors in their upcoming posts!

For those of you that didn't get in, please understand that it is an extremely difficult choice to have to make, and just because you weren't chosen doesn't make you any less talented as a writer! Opportunities even better than this will come in the future, I am certain of it. Keep writing, and improving yourselves, don't give up!

Looking back, the amount of times I submitted applications for becoming an author on the Animal Jam Spirit was crazy - and I never ended up getting the role. However, soon after, I became an author on the Animal Jam Community, and it worked out much better for me, because I got to meet awesome viewers like you! Now look where it's gotten me!

Please give a warm welcome to our new authors, Jammers! I'll be leaving for two weeks starting tomorrow, as I will be on vacation. Graciepopstar will be covering the Jammer Sundae I miss while I'm gone. See you soon!
