Greetings, Jammers. Welcome to yet another post! Can you believe today's post is the 900th post on the Animal Jam Community? Wait until we get to 1000 posts - then we will REALLY have something to celebrate!

Sold for 650 gems in the Medical Centre, I bring you the Rare Stethoscope! Wow, AJHQ is really feeling like giving us a lot of Medical items lately! Although I am not a huge fan of re-coloured items being dubbed rare, I do like the colours that AJHQ picked for this rare. I also like the fact that they are bringing more attention to the Medical Centre. As if that isn't already great, the price is excellent for a rare item - not too expensive! Be sure to buy this item today!

Widdershins: Counter-clockwise.

Pronounced (WIDD- er - shins) this word is absolutely unique. The more you say it, the funnier it gets. Not only that, but to think that it is an alternate name for such a common term. Try saying this to someone instead of counter-clockwise next time, and see how they react!

Our fact of the day:

Slugs have four noses.

Err. Well... Interesting? Try walking randomly up to one of your friends/family members and saying this fact completely out of the blue, and then walking away as if nothing happened!

Cosmic Carnival Items and Jammer Sundae #38!

Jamaa Journal VOL. 151 Bounce House

Hello Jammers! Welcome back to another post! Today is update day, as usual, Animal Jam was late to release the Jamaa Journal. But, it's here now!

Page 1

On the first page of the Jamaa Journal, it introduces the new Bounce House den! It's sold in the Diamond Shop for five diamonds. The other dens you can buy (for the same price), are Cosmo's Den and the Sol Arcade Den.

I think this den would be great for throwing summer parties. There isn't a lot of yard space, and the endless jumping could become annoying. What are your thoughts about it?

Page 2:

On the second page of the Jamaa Journal, there is an article about "Jamaalidays in July". You can attend the regular Jamaaliday Jam party on July 24th-July 26th.

Page 4:

On page four, it talks about new Summer Carnival items! I really like the balloon items because of their animation. And on the right, there is a reminder for traveling Hyenas! I wish Hyenas were more popular; their design is really unique.

That's mostly all the new features in the Jamaa Journal.

On page 3, it talks about Battle of the Beacon, and you will only have a few weeks left to play it.

On page 5, it just shows an ad for the ferret retail gift-card bonus.

Rare Item Monday!

Today is a great day, and what better way to start this day than to have a great rare? Sold for 700 gems in Jam Mart Furniture, I bring you, the Rare Sports Jersey! This is, sadly, another member rare. However, the other aspects of it are quite nice! The colours in general are complimenting each other, though I think that it would look even better if you switched the places of the two colours, Overall, this is a nice item! Be sure to buy one today!

Next, we have a new addition to the Excavation Den Item Set. Introducing: The Pottery Shards! This is a great item. Its colour changes give you different colours of pottery, which I think is really great! Not only that, but the item itself looks absolutely wonderful: the design is really "smooth" if you know what I mean! If you thought this item couldn't get any better, it just did! It is both non-member, and priced at a decent 450 gems! Be sure to buy this great item as an addition to your growing Excavation Item Collection!

Next, Ferretlove has pointed out that AJHQ has added a few new decorative things to some of the shops in Jamaa Township! My goodness, Ferret, are you ever vigilant!

Gold Panning Pond and Ultimate Sundae Contest!

Greetings Jammers, Arcticstar here! Today I have a special Jammer Sundae for you, however, we need to talk about the item first. Let's get going!

Today's new item is the Gold Panning Pond! This great item is a new addition to the Excavation Site Den Set. I remember learning a lot about the Gold Rush when I was in Elementary School, and this appears to be pulling some similar concepts from it! Now, the item it self is very well designed. I love how the water comes out of what almost looks like a miniature cave! But woah, there! 950 gems? That is an insanely expensive price, AJHQ. Some rares have gone for less that this! Anywho, the item is a great addition to the new set, if you are collecting them! The great thing about this one is that it works in a regular nature den, even if you are not collecting the set!
