Today, we have a new Deep Space Item: The Space Locker. How cool is this?? A locker to have all your space gear in it? And look! It even opens when you click on the doors. My only issue is that it is another member item. Honestly AJHQ? This whole set is great, but seriously unfair to the non-members! Be sure to buy this item for 400 gems today in Jam Mart Furniture!
Man... I should seriously get around to making that space themed den... I'm going to need a lot more gems to do that though!
Going on to the Daily Explorer, we have a post about this week's rare: The Rare Old Scuba Helmet! And look, a poor sea turtle has been stuffed into this archaic item! Poor thing! How does AJHQ expect it to breathe or even see? Cruelty! I do like the background on the image though, if find that Animal Jam has particularly lovely underwater art. It's a pity that the oceans are so unpopular these days. Anywho, be sure to check out the post for yourselves right here!

Next, we've got the results to yesterday's Arctic Experiments, and boy am I excited to say: They tested positive! Before I get to the results, though, here was the experiment:
Stand in a doorway with your hands at your side. Press the back of your hands against the doorframe, as if you are trying to raise your hands. Stand there for about a minute, but keep pressing your hands against the frame. Then, step out of the doorway and let your arms relax at your side. Try this about 3 times, to be sure you are doing it correctly. If you do it right, once you let your arms relax, they should raise by themselves without you making them move.
It really does work, and it is very cool! Here are some of your results:
My results:
Going back to the second comment, by TheHipsterPanda. That is a great question, and thankyou for asking! The science behind it is simple, yet fascinating:
See, the entire time you pushed the backs of your hands against the doorframe, your brain was constantly sending signals to your body to try and raise your arms, but it was not working. A lot of tension built up because the muscles weren't carrying out the rising actions. When you relaxed your arms, all that built up tension acted up (kind of like when you blow a balloon, and then let it go, to watch all the tension and air built up inside send it moving around the room). This remaining tension caused your arms to move by themselves!
It's amazing! Thank you to all those that tried, though it may have been confusing. Be sure to check out the next Arctic Experiment, which will be in tomorrow's post!
Finally, it is time for the factual part of this post (though we have already had some factual stuff already!)
Our word of the day:
Couth: Refinement and sophisitcation
Cool word, and it sounds very professional too. Actually, the word itself sounds couth!
Now, for the fact of the day:
Sharks are immune to all known diseases.
Now that is cool! Think about it... It's like never being able to get sick!
Have a great day! Be sure to contact me at arcticstarjamaa@gmail.com !
Thanks for answering my question, Arctic! :3
