Art Challenge In One Minute!

Hello hello everyone! I'm sorry this post is pretty late. Me and my mom went to the movies to see God Bless The Broken road, which was such a great movie! It's about a lady who looses her husband in the war, and also having foreclosure on her house a few years later. She's hurting a lot, and takes most of her anger out on her daughter, because she doesn't know why God would do this to her. Anyways, long story short, she reunites with her mother in law who she was really bitter towards, gets a small house, starts singing in church, and falls in love with a race car driver. c:
I feel like I explained that really badly.
Anyways.......
You can watch the trailer and read a better description here. XDD http://godblessthebrokenroad.com

Since we've been at the movies, I still need to read my Bible, so I kinda need to hurry on this post so I can read my Bible before we eat dinner.

Last week on my blog, Housemom418 posted an art challenge she did with her sister! They only had one minute to draw a picture. I couldn't really think of a post topic, so I decided I'd do something similar to what she did, except I don't really have anyone to do it with, soooo it's just me. XDD (Click here to see what she did!)

Let's begin!

The first drawing I'm going to do iiiiiiiiiiis,
A cross with flowers on it!

Starting the timer for one minute.

Wow........ I even used the automatic line thingy, and only got a dot as a flower... Oooookay this was not a good start.

How bout a Christmas tree next?

This is vury sad.
No topper and one small little ornament...

Let's do a bunny...

The poor thing has no eyeballs. D:

Last one! I'm gonna draw headphones because why not?

I think this drawing turned out the best! They're supposed to be Beats headphones.

Which one do you think was the best? Comment down below!

Here's todays Bible verse!

Deuteronomy 30:20

"You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This is the key to your life..."

God made you. Uniquely. Beautifully. Intentionally. Purposefully. Wonderfully.

  3. Hey Gracie, there's been something I've wanted to talk to you about. It's been on my mind and I just wanna throw it out there. I have a feeling you'll delete this comment, in fact, I'm 100% sure you will. Which is the reason why I'm talking to you.

I've noticed something about you, Gracie.

When something comes up and it doesn't sit well with you, you ALWAYS press the "delete" button.

A friend on AJ said something that offends you, and even though it's true and you should listen? Delete!

A comment on a blog is a bit more truthful then you'd like and it hurts? Delete!

An author on your blog has done something you frown upon? Delete!

Delete, delete, delete! Remove, be gone, POOF, everything's alright now in your little world. Nothing can offend you in this little perfect world of yours.

Ohh, but perhaps, you try a different method? It's almost like "delete." It's called "switching topics."

If something comes up that just doesn't make you happy? Let's talk about something else!

If an argument happens and it was very needed and you should listen? Let's switch topics!

...you see what I'm getting at?

I hope I can get this into your head.

LIFE DOESN'T ALWAYS HAVE THAT HANDY DELETE BUTTON. It's hard to hear but you can NOT go through life, pushing "delete" on every little thing that offends you, every person who makes you mad, every troubling situation. I might be going extreme here but bear with me.

Let's say you're going for a walk and you hear someone say something rude to you, cussed at you, said something offensive. This does not sit well with you. You then proceed to go with this "delete" method of yours and walk up to that person who offended you. Now, since there's no delete button in the real world, you pull out a knife and kill that person, stab them right in the heart. Your reason? They HURT you! So, let's remove them! Instant save, am I right? You just protected that little world of yours!

    Yes, I got extreme.

But that's honestly how it is. Am I wrong?

Just because someone comments on your blog and says something that's offensive does NOT mean you just remove it. You can DEAL WITH IT. In a mature way, too. Now, I don't mean if someone comments a load of swear words. I mean, like Sarah's comment that she did on your "Balance" post. (Yes, I saw you removed that comment.) There was nothing wrong with it. She was stating her opinion and I have to say, I agree all the way with what she said.

Again, I must express: LIFE DOES NOT INCLUDE DELETE BUTTONS. YOU CAN NOT REMOVE SOMETHING FROM EXISTENCE.

So, let's see if you can actually get the guts to prove me wrong. Will you keep this comment? Or will you just remove it (or remove the whole post, like you keep doing...) and hope no one saw this?

    What do you choose?
