As you may remember, a couple of weeks ago I did a poll asking you all to decide which den I would decorate. I did this as a challenge for myself because I'd noticed I've been having a lot of trouble finishing dens! It ended up being a tie between the Crystal Palace, and Sir Gilbert's palace, and I used a spinner to decide between the two. Sir Gilbert's Palace ended up winning, so I went ahead and decorated that den!
As promised, I'll be doing a short feature about how I decorated it, and I'll also be unlocking my den so you can see the full extent of it! Hopefully I'll get to meet some of you in the process, as I'll be checking in a few times throughout the day to see if anyone is around!
Without further ado, let's get rolling:
Since this den is meant to be Sir Gilbert's, I decided it would make sense to incorporate little details that could remind you of the alpha himself. I stuck to items that were not modern, and had a sense of dignity or even magic to them. In various places around the den I also alluded to Jamaasian Lore.
It was definitely tough trying to decorate it - AJHQ's dens keep getting bigger, and I never seem to know where to begin! I did most of the decorating in one night actually, adding smaller details and making changes in the following days. I am, at least, pleased with the results, however!

Personally, the cave is my favourite part of the den, but you'll have to check it out yourself to see what I did there!!

Today, just in time for the Friendship Festival, we have the returning: Pink Chest!
I do like this item, it's so simple and lovely (get it? lovely? because, the friendship festival? heh heh heh). Jokes aside, this is a very nice item and is only 175 gems! Make sure to buy one for your den at Jam Mart Furniture!
Ah goodness, this post is already on the longer side. Nonetheless (assuming I haven't lost your attention yet!) here is this week's:
Wahahaow! 70 Sundaes already? Crazy isn't it? How time carries on? It's always been my thing to make awful puns - I do annoy my real life friends most grievously on account of how awful they are. And as I am a writer (and editor of a section) within my school's newspaper, I have even managed to get myself a pun column (in which I compile terrible puns for the month!) So it's only natural that this attitude of punstoppability should someday stretch into the realm of Animal Jam. With that, I'll be doing... You guessed it: Puns!

Talk about a rude awakening! There'd be absolutely no sleeping in! Would be helpful for posting though, I suppose - I have a bad habit of sleeping through my alarm, making my posts around 4 hours late!
