Play Wild Compared To Animal Jam!

Hey there Jammers! I'm baaaaaack with your Tuuuuuuuesday entertaaaaainment! Let's jump into today's post, shall we?

Today's post is going to be comparing the differences from Play Wild to Animal Jam!

As you can see, there's a dramatic difference from the 2D (at least I think it's 2D) Animal Jam compared to the 3D (is it 3D) Play Wild. To be honest, I really like the 3D version better, since it gives it more of a cartoonish vibe.

In the picture above, you can see the difference from Jam-Mart-Clothing in Play Wild, compared to Animal Jam. There's some things that remained the same, such as the headdress hanging up on the left side of the building and the recycling machine, but there is some differences, such as there's no stairs and there's a booklet to look at the clothing items instead of the table you can click on.

One of the big differences from Play Wild, is that there's sapphires instead of diamonds. Sapphires have a lesser value than diamonds, since on Play Wild you can get an animal for 150 sapphires, rather than getting one for 10 diamonds on Animal Jam. Though, I really think sapphires are probably harder for Animal Jam non-members to get, since everyday on Play Wild people who are members on Animal Jam get 5 sapphires. Then when I got my 3 month membership for my birthday, I got 1,500 sapphires. Though there isn't membership in Play Wild, I guess that's kinda the gimmick, that you have to buy membership on Animal Jam to get sapphires.

You can see here that there's still the same arctic wolf statue, and a little display for the pets, but one of the differences is that to the left (it's kinda hard to see on the picture I took) there's a sign, and if you click on it, it will show you bundles you can buy with your sapphires! You can buy a den bundle that comes with den items, or an animal that comes with clothing items.

Something really cool that I love about Play Wild, is all the different dens! What's cool about the dens, is that normally there's something in the den that is interactive in a way. Such as in the Water Park den, there's a little diving board your avatar and pet can jump off of into the water. And when you purchase the aquarium den, there's a little button with a fish on it, and if you click on it, it pulls up a shop you can buy fish and stuff at.

Heh, it says 26 Jam-A-Grams, but it's a weird glitch where even if I click on the JAG, the numbers won't go away.

The Jamaa Journal difference! I kinda like the Animal Jam Jamaa Journal better than the Play Wild one. I don't really like the sidebar on the right of the Play Wild Jamaa Journal.

Now let's take a look at some of the interactive Play Wild features!

Something cool is that the TV's and movie theater screens in Play Wild activate when you sit down close enough to it! There's also a birthday cake in Play Wild that activates when you dance near it.

There's also a photo album in Play Wild, and you can take photos and put them in it! On the bottom right is a picture of me and Swirlshine on one of the nights we were on Play Wild together! We must do that again, Swirl 😉.

Another cool thing about Play Wild, is that pets will interact with pet toys that are designated especially for that certain pet, and they'll do emojis from time to time. I'd love to see this in Animal Jam sometime!

Todays Rare Item Monday is the Rare Violin! It is located in Jamaa Townships Jam-Mart Clothing. It can be found on the tenth page in the clothing store. It is for sale for 900 gems and it is members only. The colors of this violin are blue and orange.

Thoughts: I love when AJHQ releases instruments for Rare Item Monday! Its great for starting a band at the wolves only party! I think the colors look nice and work well together. I think the price is just right!

Overall I rate this weeks Rare Item Monday a 10!
