Skullys Return, New Daily Spin, Jamaaliday Updates and Sheep?

Today is the day... that Christmas Eve is one week away. I can't wait!
However, on AJ, there are many things to discuss. One of the biggest updates ever has came out. But let's start with the Jamaaliday gifts today. By logging on today, you can get these things:

I really like the Snowman, even if it is returning.
The Daily Explorer is also having a Diamond Challenge today! Make sure to enter!
Alright, now we're starting to get into the more interesting stuff. Here is the Jamaa Journal update, which was released on Thursday.

And I bet you all know what the main part of this update is. Skullys have returned to Jamaa. But what do I think about this? It's only my opinion, but...
I actually don't like the thought of them returning. I'm not obsessed with items or anything, but these were legendary. They were like a part of the lore. They were something released during Beta Testing, and removed during it. I don't believe that they ever should've came back. It's ruined the story of the Skullys.
You can have your own opinion, but that's mine.
Let's move on to another interesting part of this post. There was a recent video by Aparri, and I found it interesting. There will be a new Member Only Daily Spin in 2017.
This Daily Spin is really generous, but I feel like Non-Members will feel more unwanted because of this. AJHQ probably did it to encourage them to buy membership, though. As far as we know, this will be available to members on January 1st, 2017.
Finally, many people have already speculated about this, but there's a rumor going around that the new animal (mentioned in the Jamaa Journal update) will be a Sheep. It's because of the Message in a Bottle from Thursday.
As you can see, bad was spelled as "baad". A sheep does make a "baa" noise, so this is why people believe they're coming to Jamaa. But it could just be a spelling mistake. Nobody knows for sure yet.
That's all of the updates I have to share with you today. I hope you enjoyed, and comment your thoughts below on everything!

Writing Tips, New Animal Jam Toy, And A Special Surprise!

Me- Hey Jammer's! Wazzup?
You guys- 😑 We're not speaking to you.
Me- What?! What on earth are you guys talking about?
You guys- Look at your watch.
Me- Um, I'm not wearing a- ooh.. You mean cause I'm late with this post?
You guys- Mhm 😑.
Me- Common, give this girl a break! I had a busy day!
You guys- 😬
Me- 😒

Hehe! Was that long funny intro worth the time you've waited for this post?

I hope so 😁.

But really, I am truly sorry for such a delayed post! Let me explain why it's delayed.

First of all, we're getting a new house, so we did a frame walk at the construction site. (A frame walk is where you walk through the house construction and talk with the builder, with any questions you may have.) And I was writing some stories before we left, allowing me no time to write this post. After the frame walk, we went to our friends house (for an hour and a half), then went to Walmart, then we finally got home, but then we had to eat dinner. In conclusion, that is why this post is 8-6 hours late.

Anywhooo, lets get into the main part of this post, shall we?

Today, I'm going to be talking..

Writing tips! From previous posts, you may think I'm not that much of an "advanced" writer, but when it comes to story writing, I'm very serious about the way I write it. So, without further ado, lets begin!

---

Tip #1: Typoz dun't rocck.

In writing, we may make a lot of typos. Like one my friend, Sarahkey8, pointed out to me when I wrote a new story chapter.

"We quickly made it to the local 24 hour grocery store. We ran near the back of the store, and I stared at Sarah. “Wait with my father out here. We’d get too many weird looks if we all game in the store.""

That word is supposed to be came. To prevent this from happening, it's always good to proofread before you publish a new story, or story chapter. (Something I lack, greatly.)

Or, in times when you make a typo like this..:

"Mom needs to mauke me some cookies."

When that happens, it's always good to have autocorrect on your computer.

Tip #2: Commas, periods, exclamation points and question marks.

When is the right time to put a comma you may be wondering? Well, I'm here to explain when.

Whenever your writing, you say in your head, what your typing, right?

Well, whenever there seems to be a slight pause in the sentence, thats when you should put a comma. Or when you naming off stuff, like desserts or something, you need to put a comma. For instance:

"Brownies, cookies, peanut brittle, and cake."

Pretty easy to remember.

When it comes to periods, thats pretty easy to remember as well. You always use a period, right after a sentence. Thats pretty much all there is to it 😊.

Exclamation points.. One of the must frustrating things in writing. When do I use it? Am I using it too much? Well, normally you use it, when you show exclamation. Exclamation, like happiness, or excitement. But the question is, "Am I using it too much?" Well, sometimes you might be. Like if you do this:

"None members need more items!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Little too much exclamation there.. A proper time to use it would be in a sentence like this:

"Hurry! Get the nurse!"

So really, use exclamation points only once or twice in a sentence, and be sure to only use it in times of well, exclamation!

Question marks pretty much have the same rules as exclamation points. Don't overuse it, and for this punctuation, only use it in times of question, like after a question.

Tip #3: cAps LoCK oFf.

When your a new writer, it may be a bit hard to tell when you use capitals. But it is really easy. Just use it at the beginning of a sentence, when your saying names, and also products. For example:

"This is the beginning of a sentence. Jasmine walked down the street. Jasmine bought Kraft Macaroni."

Fairly simple, but sometimes it can get confusing.

Tip #4: No sudden plot twists!

In story writing, you may want to throw in a change in the story, a fork in the road, something that makes the story unique. But sometimes you might throw in a plot twist, too soon. For example:

"Danielle literally flew out of her room. She didn't even have wings. "Good morning Mom!" Danielle exclaimed. "Morning Danielle. Um, why are you flying?" Her mom asked. "I don't know." She replied. "Ok. How did you sleep?" Her mom asked."

See whats wrong there? Theres no explaining how she started to fly, and her Mom doesn't seem to care. That plot twist seemed a bit too sudden, and unexplained.

I hope you guys enjoyed those tips!

Now time for the Animal Jam part of this post!

If you have looked on the Daily Explorer lately, you would have found this puzzling post.

When I saw this, I was bubbling with excitement!

Later after I saw this post, we went to Walmart! I for sure wanted to look for this mystery toy. Near the seasonal isle, was a big box, with different items you might want for Christmas. To my surprise, there was Adopt-A-Pet toys! (Those are my favorite!) But my Mom found an Animal Jam toy.. An Animal Jam toy I had never seen before, in my life.

It was almost a perfect match to the picture from the Daily Explorer! My Mom let me get this new toy (thanks, Mom!) and inside, was a different type of Adopt-A-Pet.. These almost looked.. Metallic purple?

Very cool!

And to add to the coolness, theres a special new tab, that says "Treasure", for these new Adopt-A-Pets! Very exciting indeed!

Now for the third part of this post! (I know, this is running really long).

At the Frame Walk today, we were aloud to write on the walls, and floors, because they haven't drywalled or anything yet. I knew we were probably going to be doing this, so I had a special surprise plotting in my head.

A plan to write my Animal Jam buddies names on the walls! (Turns out I ended up doing this on the floor for more space)

I really am so grateful for you guys. If it wasn't for you guys and Coolcat, I'd probably end up quitting AJ all together.

You guys are what keep me playing AJ, and continue to write.

I really do love you guys 💝.

Here's this weeks Bible verse! (I wrote it on the wall in what will be my new room!)

Remember, God made YOU!

Until next Tuesday, This is Graciepopstar91 signin' out!

Rare Item Monday!

Hey, Jammer's! CoolCat here with another post! Its Monday, which means its time for another Rare Item Monday! But before I get on with that, Christmas is less then TWO WEEKS away! How exciting is that?! Are you guys excited? I know I am! Comment down below how you prepare for Christmas! But now, back to RIM! Here is this weeks rare information!

This weeks RIM is the Rare Branch Antlers! They are located in Coral Canyons Epic Wonders. They can be found at the blue ball on the fifth clothing item page. It is for sale for 3,500 gems and it is members only. The color scheme is orange and a yellowish gold.

I like this item a lot! The color scheme is really different but it works well together. The price is very high though. And its right around Christmas time, AJHQ! Jammers cant afford these high prices with Christmas almost here! Haha, but in all seriousness it does have a high recycle value. I bought one and went to see how much it recycled for, and it recycled for 3,475 gems! Only 25 gems less then what you paid for. Not a bad deal!! Make sure you pick up you're Rare Branch Antlers today only!!

As always. Bye, Jammer's! And ~Jam On!~

Candy Cane Tie, Jolly Elf Hat, Poinsettia Decorations and 8th Gift Theory

Okay Animal Jammers, I'm back!
It's currently snowing for me, and I really enjoy the winter. I love to go outside and play in it, throw snowballs at my friends, and just have fun. This is one of my favorite things about December besides Christmas.
Let's stop talking about IRL stuff now, and move on to Animal Jam. Sounds better, eh? Here is the Jamaaliday Gift you can get today by logging in.
It might be impossible to see because of the glitch today. Sometimes, after opening a gift, it doesn't show up. It really sucks when that happens. But I'm sure most of you know what the Candy Cane Tie looks like.
There's also a new item in stores, following the Jamaaliday theme! You can now pick up a Jolly Elf Hat in Jam Mart Furniture.
Also, here's the Daily Explorer update. Today it is a Diamond Challenge, so enter if you want!
Now, the best time of the post comes now. It's when I have some interesting things to share with you. Today I have two interesting things. Firstly, when I posted on The AJ Spring earlier today, I was searching for new decorations in Jamaa Township this year. i think I found another, hung above the Pillow Room:
There was a Jamaaliday Gift released and it's similar to this, but I don't know if we have a Gift that hangs above you yet. Could this be a future Jamaaliday Gift?
And finally, there was a big fuss over the 8th Jamaaliday Gift this year. On December 8th, it turned out to just be Candy Cane socks. But I just realized something. The 8th gift was sparkling last year, too!
This is part of the 2015 Jamaaliday Gift Calendar. As you can see, the 8th gift is sparkling. I now believe that each year, there will be a sparkle on the 8th gift. It might be a special item, though because AJHQ did make a Daily Explorer update that was dedicated to the Candy Cane socks. Maybe they consider them a special item. But there's also a rumor that they gave out a pair of Black Jamaaliday Socks, and that's why it was so special. Black Jamaaliday Socks are a rare item now, and only Wootmoo is known to have a pair. They are extremely rare. Let's get back to the point, though. Honestly, nobody really knows why AJHQ has been making the 8th gift sparkle for the past few years. Do you think it will sparkle in 2017, too?
Yeah, that's my post for this Saturday. I really hope you guys enjoyed, and comment below what your thoughts are on my theory! See you soon!
